This solid building material delivers the advantages of energy efficient building and environmentally responsible construction, including improved air quality and lower insulation expenses. Panels of AAC are rapidly becoming the building blocks of a new, greener world. Thousands of architects, engineers, and builders around the world validate the properties ASLAN AAC in their own work because of its proven advantages for more than 80 years
ASLAN AAC is a Unique Building Concept. AAC is ultra-lightweight concrete with a unique cellular structure that provides fire resistance, superior energy efficiency and acoustical properties. AAC is manufactured from silica sand, gypsum, lime, cement and water, to which an expanding agent is added. All ingredients are found in adequate supply throughout the world
Fire Resistant
AAC blocks provide outstanding fire protection and can withstand high temperatures for several hours, helping improve building safety and meet modern fire regulations.
Thermal Insulation
With low thermal conductivity, AAC blocks reduce heat transfer, keeping buildings cooler in Qatar's climate and lowering air conditioning energy consumption.
Acoustic Insulation
The cellular structure of AAC blocks effectively reduces sound transmission, creating quieter and more comfortable indoor environments.
Lightweight
AAC blocks are significantly lighter than conventional concrete blocks, reducing structural load, improving handling efficiency, and accelerating construction progress.
Faster Installation
Larger block sizes, precise dimensions, and thin-joint mortar systems allow faster wall construction with less labor and reduced material waste.
Sustainable
AAC blocks are environmentally friendly, resource-efficient, and contribute to sustainable construction practices and energy-efficient buildings.
Built for the Qatari climate.
Designed to perform where temperatures, energy costs and project deadlines all demand more.
Reduces Cooling Costs
Lower thermal conductivity means less AC demand year-round.

Questions, answered.
Everything contractors and developers in Qatar ask about AAC Blocks.
What are AAC Blocks?
AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks are lightweight, precast concrete blocks containing millions of tiny air pockets, giving them exceptional insulation and a fraction of the weight of traditional masonry.
Are AAC Blocks suitable for Qatar weather?
Yes. Their low thermal conductivity is ideal for Qatar’s hot climate, dramatically reducing cooling loads and improving indoor thermal comfort.
How fire resistant are AAC Blocks?
AAC blocks are non-combustible and provide up to 4 hours of fire resistance, depending on wall thickness — exceeding most code requirements.
Are AAC Blocks stronger than traditional blocks?
AAC blocks deliver compressive strength well within structural code requirements, with significantly better load-to-weight ratio than red clay or hollow blocks.
What sizes are available?
Standard 600×200 / 600×250 mm faces with thicknesses from 50 mm up to 300 mm. Custom sizes available on request.
Can AAC Blocks reduce electricity consumption?
Yes — buildings constructed with AAC typically see 25–35% lower cooling energy consumption versus conventional masonry.
